GoDimi Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information GoDimi (“we”, “us”, “the app”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using GoDimi you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, display name, and profile photo, provided when you create an account.
• Content you create — the groups you join or create, activities, attempts, and any photos or videos you upload as proof of an attempt.
• Technical information — a device-generated user ID, app version, and basic crash or error logs needed to keep the service running.
• Push notification token — if you grant notification permission, your device generates an Apple Push Notification (APNs) / Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token. We store it on your account so we can deliver notifications about activity in your groups (such as records being broken or new challenges). You can disable notifications globally or per category from inside the app at Profile → Notifications, or system-wide in iOS Settings → GoDimi.

We do not track you across other apps or websites and we do not sell your personal information.

How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account.
• To show your activities, attempts, and uploads to the other members of groups you belong to.
• To operate, secure, and improve the app, including fixing bugs and preventing abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Where your data is stored

GoDimi uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, App Check). Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. See Firebase’s privacy information for details on Google’s practices as a data sub-processor.

Sharing your data

We share your content only with members of the groups you join. We do not share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

Your rights and choices

• Access and correction — you can view and edit your profile information from inside the app.
• Deletion — you can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your profile, your attempts, and the media you uploaded. Content you contributed to a group (such as a group you created) may remain visible to other members in anonymized form.
• Contact — for any other request, including questions about EU/UK GDPR or California CCPA rights, email us at the address below.

Children

GoDimi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
